Our Process - Individuals
Approach to Needs of Individuals
Since 1994 our fee-only firm has been objectively advising individuals and families. We've provided guidance through the dot.com bubble, the great recession, and the continual evolution of the financial industry. We know where we are and how we got here, and can help you feel comfortable where you are going.
Our first priority is helping you take care of yourself and your family. We want to learn more about your personal situation, identify your dreams and goals, and understand your tolerance for risk. Long-term relationships that encourage open and honest communication have been the cornerstone of our foundation of success.
Our team takes a holistic approach to financial advising. Because each advisor brings a different perspective grounded in their area of expertise, clients receive a more robust analysis and crafted solution.
Our process typically includes:
Discussing your current financial status including goals, risk tolerance, personal timelines
Gathering of all information pertaining to and cashflow, assets, liabilities, insurance and estate plan
Creating a financial plan which reflects both your financial reality and goals, and incorporates our expectations for the financial markets
Evaluating how different investment strategies and planning decisions might affect your outcome
Selecting the optimal financial and investment strategy which maximizes your plans' chances of success, given your personal, and plan’s, tolerance for potential market volatility, exposure to interest rate changes, and unexpected changes in your personal financial situation
Implementing your specific investment program utilizing appropriate investment vehicles and cognizant of expenses; all costs will be clearly outlined
Managing your investment portfolio within your established tolerance for risk to attempt to both benefit from opportunities the financial markets may present and minimize exposure to potential headwinds
Monitoring and re-evaluating your life situation and portfolio as well as the financial markets
Objectively reporting on the performance of your investment portfolio against your goals
